Adam Carolla… The NRA knows how to deal with progressives…

Adam Carolla compares "The progressive movement" to smoking.

Brilliant analogy.

Take two minutes and listen to this.

It's what has been going on in society for years, right before your eyes.

“It’s a Huge Deal” – Iowa Farmers React to President Trump’s Order on E15 Fuel

“President Donald Trump came to Council Bluffs to praise farmers, and pledged to continue fighting for them,” José Zozaya reports for KETV. “The president announced year-round sales of E15 fuel. He also signed an executive order to streamline the biotechnology process.”

These new actions will help reduce costs, eliminate delays, and ultimately allow farmers to produce safer, more sustainable crops without excessive interference from Washington. “It’s a huge deal,” said local farmer Bruce Bracker. President Trump is “a businessman that keeps his word.”

The Trump Administration unveiled a new initiative yesterday “aimed at giving women a bigger role in global peace and security efforts,” Catherine Lucey reports for The Wall Street Journal. “White House senior adviser Ivanka Trump, the president’s daughter, has been a key champion of the effort and took part in a discussion about it at the Capitol with a bipartisan group of lawmakers.” Ms. Trump said that the Strategy on Women, Peace, and Security “recognizes that women’s participation and empowerment are essential to good defense policy, conflict resolution and post-conflict peace-building efforts.”

“The acting Homeland Security secretary gave lawmakers a glimpse Tuesday into just how many asylum seekers skip their hearings after being released into the United States — telling a Senate panel that a recent program found 90 percent miss their court dates,” Adam Shaw reports for Fox News. “The secretary described authorities as hamstrung by laws that limit how long they can keep migrants in custody.”

“The Rio Grande Valley sector of the Texas border is currently in custody of more than 8,000 illegal immigrants, nearly three times the intended capacity of 3,363,” Eddie Scarry reports in the Washington Examiner. U.S. Customs and Border Protection warned Monday that America’s border security system will collapse under the weight of mass illegal immigration if no action is taken by Congress. “This is a tragedy and Democrats in Congress refuse to do anything about it. It’s exactly how they want our immigration system to work.”

“USMCA will lead to more jobs, larger paychecks, and cheaper prices for American consumers,” Rep. George Holding (R-NC) writes in The Hill. “It’s time for Washington to buck up and get this agreement over the finish line. We have before us a once in a generation opportunity to define a new global standard in digital trade, one that positions the United States as the world leader in the digital economy. We can’t afford to let it slip away.”

Horn’s Middlesex ACE Hardware owners recognized with award

Horn’s Middlesex ACE Hardware at Cooks Corner was recognized this week with the Middlesex County Republican Committee’s first-ever Free Enterprise Award. Extending congratulations for completing their second year in business, Grayland and Krystal Horn were thanked by members of the Republican committee for choosing Middlesex County in which to do business.

According to the Horns, Middlesex ACE employs about 10 people and the business is going extremely well. Accepting the award, the Horns said Middlesex County is an excellent place to do business. “The people are friendly, county government personnel are eager to help, the public school system is great; we love it here,” they said.

Feigum said the award, initiated by the county Republican Committee, helps recognize the importance of free enterprise in our county and our country. “The Virginia Republican Creed states it well, we believe the free enterprise system is the most productive supplier of human needs and economic justice.”

Citing new and existing businesses across the county, Feigum said, “Free enterprise and economic development are happening daily in Middlesex thanks to business owners, the people they employ, their customers, and the goods and services they offer. We want these businesses to know we’re glad they’re here.”

How many coal plants are there in the world?

The EU has 468 building 27 more... Total  495

Turkey has 56  building 93 more... Total  149

South Africa has 79 building 24 more... Total  103

India has 589 building 446 more... Total  1036

Philippines has 19 building 60 more... Total 79

South Korea has 58 building 26 more... Total 84

Japan has 90 building 45 more... Total 135

China has 2363   building 1171 more... Total 3534

That’s 5,615 projected coal powered plants in 8 countries.

USA has 15 building 0 more... Total 15

Now politicians with their "green new deal" want to shut down those 15 plants in order to "save" the planet!!??

Kissinger at 94 ...

Recently, Henry Kissinger did an interview and said vary amazing things regarding President Trump.  He starts with:  “Donald Trump is a phenomenon that foreign countries haven’t seen before”!

The former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger gives us a new understanding of President Donald Trump’s foreign policy and predicts its success:  “Liberals and all those who favor (Hillary) Clinton will never admit it. They will never admit that he is the one true leader. The man is doing changes "like never before" and does all of it for the sake of this nation’s people.   After eight years of tyranny, we finally see a difference.”

Kissinger knows it and he continues with: “Every country now has to consider two things: One: their perception that the previous outgoing president, basically withdrew America from international politics, so that they had to make their own assessments of their necessities. And Secondly: there is a new president who’s asking a lot of unfamiliar questions. And because of the combination of the partial vacuum and the new questions, one could imagine that something remarkable and new emerges out of it.”

Then Kissinger puts it bluntly:   “Trump puts America and its people first. This is why people (who truly know what’s going on) love him and this is why he will remain in charge for so long. There is not a single thing wrong with him and people need to open their eyes.”  When he boasts that he has a “bigger red button” than Kim Jung Un does, he so transcends the "mealy-mouthed rhetoric" of the past, thereby forcing a new recognition of American power.

Kissinger once wrote:  “The weak grow strong by effrontery – The strong grow weak through inhibition!” No sentence better captures the U.S./North Korea relationship.

Trump is discarding the inhibitions and calling the bluff on North Korea’s effrontery:  His point is that the contrast of American retreat under Obama and its new assertion of power under Trump creates a new dynamic that every one of our allies and of our enemies must consider.  Our allies grew complaisant with Obama’s passivity and now are fearful due to Trump’s activism. And they must balance the two in developing their policies:  They realize that the old assumptions, catalyzed by Bush 43’s preoccupation with Iraq and Obama’s refusal to lead are obsolete.  So, Trump is forcing a new calculus with a new power behind American interests.  Those — here and abroad — who rode the old apple cart worry about its being toppled.

But, as Kissinger so boldly stated:   “Trump is the one true leader in world affairs and he is forcing policy changes that put America first!

The Pattern Continues ...

  • In 2013, an angry Democrat shot 12 at a Navy shipyard .
  • On 14 June 2017, a "normalized" Democrat shot and wounded 4 at a Republican ball practice.

Clearly,  there is a problem with Democrats and guns.
Not one NRA member, Tea Party member, or Republican conservative was involved in any of these shootings.

  • It should be illegal for Democrats to own guns.
  • We don't need gun control, we need Democrat control.
  • Guns don't kill people, Democrats do!

Switzerland - What's in a handshake? Well worth reading.
Sometimes it's the little things that are most telling.  At first glance this may seem like a trivial story but what lies hidden beneath it could have serious consequences for our children and grandchildren.
In Switzerland it has long been customary for students to shake the hands of their teachers at the beginning and end of the school day.  It's a sign of solidarity and mutual respect between teacher and pupil, one that is thought to encourage the right classroom atmosphere.  Justice Minister Simonetta Sommaruga recently felt compelled to further explain that shaking hands was part of Swiss culture and daily life.
And the reason she felt compelled to speak out about the handshake is that two Muslim brothers, aged 14 and 15, who have lived in Switzerland for several years (and thus are familiar with its mores), in the town of Therwil, near Basel, refused to shake the hands of their teacher, a woman, because, they claimed, this would violate Muslim teachings that contact with the opposite sex is allowed only with family members.
At first the school authorities decided to avoid trouble, and initially granted the boys an exemption from having to shake the hand of any female teacher.  But an uproar followed, as Mayor Reto Wolf explained to the BBC: "the community was unhappy with the decision taken by the school.  In our culture and in our way of communication a handshake is normal and sends out respect for the other person, and this has to be brought home to the children in school."
Therwil's Educational Department reversed the school's decision, explaining in a statement on May 25 that the school's exemption was lifted because "the public interest with respect to equality between men and women and the integration of foreigners significantly outweighs the freedom of religion."  It added that a teacher has the right to demand a handshake.  Furthermore, if the students refused to shake hands again "the sanctions called for by law will be applied," which included a possible fine of up to 5,000 dollars.
This uproar in Switzerland, where many people were enraged at the original exemption granted to the Muslim boys, did not end after that exemption was itself overturned by the local Educational Department.  The Swiss understood quite clearly that this was more than a little quarrel over handshakes; it was a fight over whether the Swiss would be masters in their own house, or whether they would be forced to yield, by the granting of special treatment, to the Islamic view of the proper relations between the sexes.  It is one battle – small but to the Swiss significant – between overweening Muslim immigrants and the indigenous Swiss.
Naturally, once the exemption was withdrawn, all hell broke loose among Muslims in Switzerland.  The Islamic Central Council of Switzerland, instead of yielding quietly to the Swiss decision to uphold the handshaking custom, criticized the ruling in hysterical terms, claiming that the enforcement of the handshaking is "totalitarian" (!) because its intent is to "forbid religious people from meeting their obligations to God."
That, of course, was never the "intent" of the long-standing handshaking custom, which was a nearly-universal custom in Switzerland, and in schools had to do only with encouraging the right classroom atmosphere of mutual respect between instructor and pupil, of which the handshake was one aspect.
The Swiss formulation of the problem – weighing competing claims — will be familiar to Americans versed in Constitutional adjudication.  In this case "the public interest with respect to equality" of the sexes and the "integration of foreigners" (who are expected to adopt Swiss ways, not force the Swiss to exempt them from some of those ways) were weighed against the "religious obligations to God" of Muslims, and the former interests found to outweigh the latter.
What this case shows is that even at the smallest and seemingly inconsequential level, Muslims are challenging the laws and customs of the Infidels among whom they have been allowed to settle [i.e., stealth jihad toward sharia dominance].  Each little victory, or defeat, will determine whether Muslims will truly integrate into a Western society or, instead, refashion that society to meet Muslim requirements.
The handshake has been upheld and, what's more, a stiff fine now will be imposed on those who continue to refuse to shake hands with a female teacher.  This is a heartening sign of non-surrender by the Swiss.  But the challenges of the Muslims within Europe to the laws and customs of the indigenes have no logical end and will not stop.
***And the greater the number of Muslims allowed to settle in Europe, the stronger and more frequent their challenges will be.  They are attempting not to integrate, but rather to create, for now, a second, parallel society, and eventually, through sheer force of numbers from both migration and by outbreeding the Infidels, to fashion not a parallel society but one society — now dominated by Muslim sharia. ***
The Swiss handshaking dispute has received some, but not enough, press attention.  Presumably, it's deemed too inconsequential a matter to bother with.  But the Swiss know better.  And so should we.
There's an old Scottish saying that in one variant reads: "Many a little makes a mickle."  That is, the accumulation of many little things leads to one big thing.  That's what's happening in Europe today.  This was one victory for the side of sanity.  There will need to be a great many more.

Charles Krauthammer back, (partially), after many months of battling post surgery complications and enduring lengthy rehabilitation. Please read his message about Trump, whom he has not been kind about at times with his observations. This article is interesting for all who may want to see what Dr. K has analyzed during his lengthy absence

Charles Krauthammer's interesting take on Mr. Trump:

To my friends "of a different persuasion" I'm not trying to sell anything or anyone but I do feel this is an interesting take on our very controversial president who I truly believe is not Republican or Democrat.

He is not the type of person I would seek out to be my friend, but I do admire what he wants to accomplish.

A Different take on Donald Trump: (a non-political agenda)

Trump Is Not A Liberal or Conservative, He's a "Pragmatist."  (Definition: A pragmatist is someone who is practical and focused on reaching a goal. A pragmatist usually has a straightforward, matter-of-fact approach and doesn't let emotion distract him or her.)

"We recently enjoyed a belated holiday dinner with friends at the home of other friends. The dinner conversation varied from discussions about antique glass and china to theology and politics.

At one point, reference was made to Donald Trump being a conservative, to which I responded that Trump is not a conservative.

I said that I neither view nor do I believe Trump views himself as a conservative. I stated it was my opinion that Trump is a pragmatist. He sees a problem and understands it must be fixed. He doesn't see the problem as liberal or conservative, he sees it only as a problem. That is a quality that should be admired and applauded, not condemned. But I get ahead of myself.

Viewing problems from a Liberal perspective has resulted in the creation of more problems, more entitlement programs, more victims, more government, more political correctness, and more attacks on the working class in all economic strata.

Viewing things according to the so-called Republican conservative perspective has brought continued spending and globalism to the detriment of American interests and well being, denial of what the real problems are, weak, ineffective, milquetoast, leadership that amounts to Barney Fife Deputy Sheriff, appeasement oriented and afraid of its own shadow. In brief, it has brought liberal ideology with a pachyderm as a mascot juxtaposed to the ass of the Democrat Party.

Immigration isn't a Republican problem, it isn't a Liberal problem, it is a problem that threatens the very fabric and infrastructure of America. It demands a pragmatic approach not an approach that is intended to appease one group or another.

The impending collapse of the economy wasn't a Liberal or Conservative problem, it is an American problem. That said, until it is viewed as a problem that demands a common sense approach to resolution, it will never be fixed because the Democrats and Republicans know only one way to fix things and the longevity of their impracticality has proven to have no lasting effect.

Successful businessmen like Donald Trump find ways to make things work, they do not promise to accommodate.

Trump uniquely understands that China's manipulation of currency is not a Republican problem or a Democrat problem. It is a problem that threatens our financial stability and he understands the proper balance needed to fix it.

Here again, successful businessmen, like Trump, who have weathered the changing tides of economic reality understand what is necessary to make business work, and they, unlike both sides of the political aisle, know that if something doesn't work, you don't continue trying to make it work hoping that at some point it will.

As a pragmatist, Donald Trump hasn't made wild pie-in-the-sky promises of a cell phone in every pocket, free college tuition, and a $15 hour minimum wage for working the drive-through at Carl's Hamburgers.

I argue that America needs pragmatists because pragmatists see a problem and find ways to fix them. They do not see a problem and compound it by creating more problems.

You may not like Donald Trump, but I suspect that the reason some people do not like him is because:

(1) he is antithetical to the "good old boy" method of brokering back room deals that fatten the coffers of politicians;

(2) they are unaccustomed to hearing a president speak who is unencumbered by the financial shackles of those who he owes vis-a-vis donations;

(3) he is someone who is free of idiomatic political ideology;

(4) he says what he is thinking, is unapologetic for his outspoken thoughts, speaks very straightforward using everyday language that can be understood by all (and is offensive to some who dislike him anyway) making him a great communicator, for the most part, does what he says he will do and;

(5) he is someone who understands that it takes more than hollow promises and political correctness to make America great again.

Listening to Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders talk about fixing America is like listening to two lunatics trying to "out crazy" one another. Jeb Bush, John Kasich and Marco Rubio are owned lock, stock, and barrel by the bankers, corporations, and big dollar donors funding their campaigns. Bush can deny it, but common sense tells anyone willing to face facts is that people don't give tens of millions without expecting something in return.

We have had Democrats and Republican ideologues and what has it brought us?

Are we better off today or worse off? Has it happened overnight or has it been a steady decline brought on by both parties?

I submit that a pragmatist is just what America needs right now. People are quick to confuse and despise confidence as arrogance, but that is common among those who have never accomplished anything in their lives (or politicians who never really solved a problem, because it's better to still have an "issue(s) to be solved," so re-elect me to solve it, (which never happens) and those who have always played it safe (again, all politicians) not willing to risk failure, to try and achieve success).

Donald Trump put his total financial empire at risk in running for president and certainly did not need or possibly even want the job; that says it all.
He wants success for the U.S. and her citizens because he loves his country.

God Bless America
~ Dr. Charles Krauthammer

Looks like Florida has a sheriff like Arizona had.
Polk County Florida Sheriff - "You kill a policeman it means no arrest....no Miranda rights...no negotiations...nothing but as many bullets as we can shoot into you...PERIOD."
An illegal alien, in Polk County, Florida, who got pulled over in a routine traffic stop, ended up "executing" the deputy who stopped him.  The deputy was shot eight times, including once behind his right ear at close range.
Another deputy was wounded and a police dog killed.
The murderer was found hiding in a wooded area.  As soon as he took a shot at the SWAT team, officers opened fire on him.  They hit the guy 68 times.
Naturally, the liberal media went nuts and asked why they had to shoot the poor, undocumented immigrant 68 times.
Sheriff Grady Judd told the Orlando Sentinel: "Because that's all the ammunition we had."
Now, is that just about the all-time greatest answer or what??
The Coroner also reported that the illegal alien died of natural causes.
When asked by a reporter how that could be, since there were 68 bullet wounds in his body, he simply replied: (BEST QUOTE ever) . ..
"When you are shot 68 times you are naturally gonna die."

Written by a female
black columnist who grew up in Southeast Texas (see thumbnail bio below) no less ... we (the US) could well do with more of her kind being published and read ... seems the MSM, that's Mainstream Media, doesn't quite what to do with 'em.
Sylvia Thompson is a black conservative writer whose aim is  to counter the liberal spin on issues pertaining to race and culture.
Ms. Thompson is a copy editor by trade currently residing in Tennessee. She formerly wrote for the Conservative Forum of Silicon Valley California Newsletter and the online conservative blog ChronWatch, also out of California.
She grew up in Southeast Texas during the waning years of Jim Crow-era legalized segregation, and she concludes that race relations in America will never improve, nor will we ever elevate our culture, as long as there are victims to be pandered to and villains
to be vilified. America is better served without victims or villains.

Silvia Brown
I must admit I have never in my life purchased
a ticket to a sports event. I am not a sports enthusiast. But
I am an American black citizen, and I have had it up to the gills with black people who embrace victimhood. I also highly resent my being expected to do the same in order to affirm my “blackness.”
Black victims these days, for the most part, are the product of decades of Black Americans being used primarily by white progressive leftists to advance an anti-American agenda.
The current brouhaha surrounding the despicable behavior of NFL athletes toward the National Anthem and the American flag is a prime example of what the Left has done to my race.
One must assume these players and their guilt-conflicted white coaches and owners (and victimhood-inflicted black coaches) are being manipulated by the Left, because no intelligent, thinking people would deliberately cut themselves off at the knees.
Essentially, what these young misguided mostly black men are doing is ensuring the demise of their lucrative paychecks. Further, I would wager that if
these teams consisted of all white athletes, none of this idiocy would be allowed. We are witnessing this travesty because the vast majority of players are black and can whine “oppression” if appropriate action is taken against them for their unconscionable behavior.
The twisted reasoning that claims these protests are to highlight “injustice” and “police brutality” is a laughable crock. What they do in fact is dishonor valued symbols of this nation’s heritage and cover over truth about black crime.
Black males bear the brunt of police encounters because black males commit disproportionately more crimes. Police encounters with black
men are so often confrontational because so many of these men, especially the young, don’t think “compliance” applies to them. They foolishly assume they are above the law and disrespect for police officers is an act of honor.
These young blacks, sadly, took much of
their direction from racists Obama and Eric Holder during Obama’s destructive, eight-year regime and Holder’s corruption of the Justice Department. These two men, abusing their federal powers, gave young blacks the impression they need not heed the law, because laws are somehow unjust when they are applied to black Americans.
The NFL lot, and any other athletes taking a similar stance, are also influenced by Obama’s and Holder’s disdain for law and law enforcement.
I am not familiar with one case where a black suspect to a crime was not proven legally to have caused the behavior against him, particularly in cases where the police officer involved was exonerated by facts. Michael Brown of “hands up, don’t shoot” infamy is one good example. Blatant lies were spread to cloud the truth about Brown’s case.
Back in the day when I was growing up in the racially segregated South, the opposite prevailed in many cases. There was much injustice particularly toward black men, but not today. Today, too many blacks have been fed the notion that it is now “pay-back” time, and they can flaunt their lawlessness because some whites flaunted theirs during an earlier time in our nation’s history.
Although Obama and Holder no longer wield power in this country, some of their minions continue on the pernicious path of “paying back” American whites for wrongs, real or imagined..But as the saying goes, there is a new Sheriff in town and he is not guilt-conflicted. He expects fair play under law and tolerating pay-back is not part of his agenda. Black Americans, when they break the law, can no longer claim victim status simply because they are black. Those days are over.
American laws and law enforcement personnel will be respected in America, again; our
traditions and values will not be impugned in America without consequences, again.
Anybody unsettled about this turn of events is welcome to leave this country. I suggest all the black players try a country in Africa, and see how successful they will be at making millions playing games. They will all soon learn what oppression really means.
Some self-directed, independent-thinking
blacks (and there are many of us) have offered that if these millionaire protestors want to tackle some real problems, they might consider the thousands of black children killed in abortions annually (by the progressive Left), or perhaps the many, many young blacks murdered routinely on inner-city streets by other young blacks (in cities run by progressive, leftist Democrats), or the downright criminal state of education of black inner-city children, orchestrated by the progressive leftist National Education Association (NEA).
The NEA’s aim is to produce unintelligent pawns to feed the cause of progressivism.
I am annoyed by the expressions of “sincerity” gracing the faces of the NFL protestors—as if to convey the “hallowedness” of their cause.
In actuality, they provide a picture of grown men allowing themselves to be made fools of by the progressive Left. I don’t doubt, however, that some of these men have been coerced into compliance with this lost cause, either through threats of violence or shunning (from coaches and players). Alejandro Villanueva of the Pittsburgh Steelers and former Army Ranger is very likely a victim of such threats. He was publicly castigated by his leftist coach for his patriotism. The coach demanded unity behind an ignorant cause.
And finally, this issue has nothing to do
with First Amendment rights. President Trump’s speaking out against the clownish behavior of the athletes, on behalf of the majority of American citizens, does not mean he can or would stop any of these misguided people from making fools of themselves. To restrict them, as a government entity, would indeed be a violation of the First Amendment. But their employers, if they were to develop even a modicum of testicular fortitude, could and should fire them for doing major damage to the bottom line of the business.

The rest of us non-millionaire “Joes” would certainly be pink-slipped by an employer if we dared to be so clueless about the necessity of profits and so disdainful of the sensibilities of customers.
I will wait patiently for the true sports enthusiasts to vent their rage by simply boycotting the games. It will be sweet revenge to witness the slain goose cease producing its golden eggs.

Just so you know and understand where he's coming from...this is the oppression that mediocre ex-NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick has been forced to endure...

Inauguration Day - January 20, 2017

President-elect and Mrs. Trump, Vice-President-elect and Mrs. Pence, families and friends, it’s an honor to be with you on this historic day.

President-elect Trump, I remember that it was exactly one year ago this weekend that I was with you on your Citation jet flying around Iowa before the first caucus or primary vote was cast. After our Wendy’s cheeseburgers, I said that I believed that you would be the next President of the United States. And if that happened, it would be because God had placed you there.

As the prophet Daniel said, it is God who removes and establishes leaders.

Today-one year later-God has raised you and Vice-President-elect Pence up for a great, eternal purpose.

When I think of you, President-elect Trump, I am reminded of another great leader God chose thousands of years ago in Israel. The nation had been in bondage for decades, the infrastructure of the country was in shambles, and God raised up a powerful leader to restore the nation. And the man God chose was neither a politician nor a priest. Instead, God chose a builder whose name was Nehemiah.

And the first step of rebuilding the nation was the building of a great wall. God instructed Nehemiah to build a wall around Jerusalem to protect its citizens from enemy attack. You see, God is NOT against building walls!

And the Old Testament book of Nehemiah records how Nehemiah completed that massive project in record time—just 52 days.

Why was Nehemiah so successful in building the wall and rebuilding the nation?

1. Nehemiah Refused To Allow His Critics To Distract Him

Someone has said there are three guaranteed ways to avoid criticism: do nothing, say nothing, and be nothing.

Any true leader is going to face criticism.

President-elect Trump, you have had your share of critics from the day you announced you were running for President, but you’ve confounded them at every turn. First, they said you couldn’t win the nomination, but you ended up garnering the most votes of any Republican in history. Then they said that was a fluke, but you couldn’t win the election. And you handily defeated your opponent. And now your critics say you can’t possibly succeed in your agenda.

Nehemiah had his own share of critics. Two of his chief antagonists were named Sanballat and Tobiah. They were the mainstream media of their day. They continued to hound and heckle Nehemiah and spread false rumors while he and the Israelites were building the wall.

At one point, they said, “Nehemiah, you need to stop the project and come down from the wall and have a meeting with us.”

Nehemiah’s response was classic: “I’m doing a great work . . . why should I stop the work and come down to you?” (Nehemiah 6:3)

President-elect Trump, you, Vice President-elect Pence, and your team have been called by God and elected by the people to do a great work. It is a work far too important to stop and answer your critics.

2. Nehemiah Refused To Allow Setbacks To Stop Him

As you read through Nehemiah’s journal, you’ll find that he faced tremendous obstacles as he attempted to rebuild the nation: an economic recession, terrorist attacks from enemies, and discouragement among the citizens.

But none of those setbacks was enough to stop Nehemiah.

Some years ago two sports commentators on television were discussing the late Hall of Famer Walter Payton, the running back for the Chicago Bears. One commentator said, “Can you believe that during his career Payton has run more than nine miles with a football?”

The other commentator replied, “What’s even more amazing is that every 3.8 yards of those nine miles Payton got knocked down by a guy twice his size! But he got back up every time and kept moving forward in spite of those bruising hits and hard knocks.”

President Trump, you, your team and your families are going to face some bruising setbacks. But remember . .

The true measure of a leader is what it takes to stop him. And knowing you, I believe it’s going to take a lot to stop you.

3. Nehemiah Sought God’s Help To Empower Him

Nehemiah was a gifted leader, but he knew he could not succeed without God’s divine help. And that is why as he began the great work, Nehemiah knelt before God and prayed:
“O Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of this your servant who delights in revering your name. Give your servant success today ..”
(Nehemiah 1:11)

Mr. President-elect, I don’t believe we have ever had a president with as many natural gifts as you. As you know, the reason I endorsed you within weeks of your announcement that you were running was because I believed that you were the only candidate who possessed the leadership skills necessary to reverse the downward trajectory of our nation.

And beginning with Vice President-elect Pence-a great and godly man-you’ve assembled an unbelievably talented group of advisers around you.

But the challenges facing our nation are so great that it will take more than natural ability to meet them. We need God’s supernatural power.

The good news is that the same God who empowered Nehemiah nearly 2500 years ago is available to every one of us today who is willing to humble himself and ask for His help.

God says in Psalm 50:15 “Call upon Me in the day of trouble I shall rescue you and you will honor Me.”

When President Ronald Reagan addressed the Republican National Convention in my city of Dallas in 1984 he said, “America needs God more than God needs America. If we ever forget that we are “one nation under God,” then we will be a nation gone under.”

President-elect Trump, you had a campaign slogan that resonated with tens of millions of Americans because it spoke to their heartfelt desire: “Make America Great Again.”

Psalm 33:12 gives us the starting point for making that happen: “Blessed— great—is the nation whose God is the Lord.”

May God bless President-elect Trump, Vice-President-elect Pence, their families and advisers. And may God truly bless the United States of America.

REMEMBER this from high school?

There are 8 levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a socialist/communist State.

The first is the most important and 5 OF THE 8 ARE DONE - THE LAST 3 ARE ALMOST THERE.  Our liberty depends on upholding the Constitution, not allowing Sharia Law, or these Socialist/Communist controls to take over the USA.

1. Healthcare: "Control Healthcare and you control the People.” DONE !!

2. Poverty: Increase the Poverty level as high as possible." Poor People are easier to control and will not fight back if the government is providing everything for them to live. DONE!!!

3. Debt: Increase the National Debt to an unsustainable level." That way you are able to increase Taxes, and this will produce more Poverty. DONE!!!

4. Gun Control: Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a Police State - total local control. ALMOST THERE!!!

5. Welfare: Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Livestock, Housing, and Income). DONE!!!

6. Education: Take control of what People read & listen to; take control of what Children learn in School. ALMOST THERE!!!

7. Religion: Remove faith in God from the Government and Schools. ALMOST THERE!!!

8. Class Warfare: Divide the People into the Wealthy against the Poor. Racially divide. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to Tax the Wealthy with full support of the voting Poor. DONE!!!

The bases are all covered! We are ripe for take-over!

REGISTER TO VOTE and enlighten your conservative friends as well; exercise your rights while you still have them!

Truman was right...

Another relevant point:
  • Barack Obama's net worth as of the 2008 election: $8 million
  • Barack Obama's net worth as of the 2012 election: $24 million
  • Barack Obama's net worth as of December 2015: $46 million...
Not bad...considering his salary as president is $500,000 a year!
Barack Obama never had a real job, outside of government.
Good old Harry...  He knew what he was talking about

Police Retraining??
Now let me see if I have this right.
There's no guidance or discipline in the home. The family situation is so unstable; 'Junior' doesn't even know where to send a Father's Day card. Junior gets dumped into the education system where he is socially promoted because the overwhelmed school district can't deal with the undisciplined whelp. Junior's major formative influences are 'gangsta' rap videos and a corresponding peer group of gangsta wannabes.
At age 18, Junior is turned loose on society carrying a bad attitude, a broken compass and no respect for authority. Junior gets himself in big trouble with the law because he is illiterate, unskilled, unemployable and his only source of income other than Government assistance is illegal and meets dire consequences. Then, the situation diagnosis is that the police need more training, compassion, sensitivity and understanding?
Pardon me for asking, but do you really believe this

SHARIA LAW and DEMOCRACY cannot co-exist; a film clip from 2011 shows what is happening in Belgium in 2011, are we far behind?

Do you not see the Trojan horses entering our country?

Legal Scholars Rise Up Against the Supreme Court’s Judicial Despotism

I’ve been saying that 2015 is the year of pushback, and this might be the most significant act of pushing back so far: A group of legal scholars, most of them university professors, have declared that the Supreme Court’s redefinition of marriage this past June 26th is not “the law of the land,” and they are calling on all office holders, together with all presidential candidates, to join them in rejecting the Court’s decision.  Read the Full Article HERE

You have to love James Wood ...

James Woods is a conservative actor who dropped out of MIT, just before graduation, while majoring in Political Science, in order to pursue acting as a career.

To go to college in America you take the Standard Aptitude Test (SAT).

The highest score possible is 1,600; the US actor scored 1,580, and a perfect 800 points in the verbal section.

He also studied linear algebra at UCLA while still at high school.

He has a reported IQ of 184. Probably a slight cut above most of Hollywood.

This is straightforward country thinking.

Excerpt from “2016 Rob Bell for Attorney General” message dated August 18, 2016

On Monday, Governor McAuliffe lashed out at the Supreme Court for daring to rule in our lawsuit that his executive order on felons was unconstitutional. McAuliffe called the Court “scared” and complained that “they don’t even talk about my authority.”

These remarks prompted a media firestorm. Calling it a tantrum, a Virginian-Pilot columnist wrote:

In 1865, a  Democrat shot and killed Abraham Lincoln, President of the United States.

In 1881, a  left wing radical Democrat shot James Garfield, President of the United  States - who later died from the wound.
In 1963, a  radical left wing socialist shot and killed John F. Kennedy, President  of the United States.

In 1975, a  left wing radical Democrat fired shots at Gerald Ford, President of the  United States.

In 1983, a  registered Democrat shot and wounded Ronald Reagan, President of the  United States.
In 1984,  James Hubert, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 22 people in a  McDonalds restaurant.
In 1986,  Patrick Sherrill, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 15 people in  an Oklahoma post office.

In 1990,  James Pough, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 10 people at a GMAC  office.
In 1991,  George Hennard, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 23 people in a  Luby's cafeteria in Killeen, TX.
In 1995,  James Daniel Simpson, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 5  coworkers in a Texas laboratory.

In 1999,  Larry Asbrook, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 8 people at a  church service.
In 2001, a  left wing radical Democrat fired shots at the White House in a failed  attempt to kill George W. Bush, President of the US.

In 2003,  Douglas Williams, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 7 people at a  Lockheed Martin plant.
In 2007, a  registered Democrat named Seung - Hui Cho, shot and killed 32 people in Virginia Tech.
In 2010, a  mentally ill registered Democrat named Jared Lee Loughner, shot Rep.  Gabrielle Giffords and killed 6 others.

In 2011, a  registered Democrat named James Holmes, went into a movie theater and  shot and killed 12 people.

In 2012,  Andrew Engeldinger, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 7 people in  Minneapolis.

In 2013, a  registered Democrat named Adam Lanza, shot and killed 26 people in a  school in Newtown ,CT.

As  recently as Sept 2013, an angry Democrat shot 12 at a Navy ship  yard.

Clearly,  there is a problem with Democrats and guns.

Not  one NRA member, Tea Party member, or Republican conservative was  involved in any of these shootings and murders.

It  should be illegal for Democrats to own guns.

We don't need gun control, we need Democrat control.

Guns don't kill people, Democrats do!

I thought you might find this interesting. I sure did!
Next time you hear Hillary, or any other Democrat, ranting about Republicans wanting to disenfranchise minorities by requiring voter ID, keep the following in mind:
* In 59 voting districts in the Philadelphia region, Obama received 100% of the votes with not even a single vote recorded for Romney. (A mathematical and statistical impossibility).
* In 21 districts in Wood County Ohio, Obama received 100% of the votes where GOP inspectors were illegally removed from their polling locations - and not one single vote was recorded for Romney. (Another statistical impossibility).
* In Wood County Ohio, 106,258 voted in a county with only 98,213 eligible voters .
* In St. Lucie County, FL, there were 175,574 registered eligible voters but 247,713 votes were cast.
* The National SEAL Museum , a polling location in St. Lucie County, FL had a 158% voter turnout.
* Palm Beach County , FL had a 141% voter turnout .
* In one Ohio County , Obama won by 108% of the total number of eligible voters .
NOTE: Obama won in every state that did not require a Photo ID and lost in every state that did require a Photo ID in order to vote .
Imagine that.....

I believe Ronald Reagan was one of the very best presidents our country has ever had and among other talents, he had a good sense of humor. I hope you will enjoy this video --I did.

A Letter from a Floridian about Donald Trump
and how he thinks outside the box.

Like him or not, give the guy credit for his vision in seeing win/ win solutions in these situations.  The country can use a few wins and people in charge who win for the USA.

Raising the Flag

While many doubt his qualifications to be POTUS - He certainly thinks fast on his feet and resolves issues In a manner that would frustrate the best of legal teams. Time to simply flush the political toilet bowl - even for just one term. He IS pro-American.

His arrogance and unpredictable behavior may just prove a plus at this point and time in regaining our credibility of what we say as a nation to the rest of the world. At the VERY LEAST - he has shaken the very core of the political process for 2016 in a more positive than negative way.

When Trump purchased and rebuilt Mar-A-Lago the Grand mansion and estate In Palm beach, Florida He got into a dispute with the city, who are well known for being strict on zoning regulations.
Mr. Trump put up a 50 foot flag pole even though 30 foot is the maximum allowed.  The City imposed a 1,000 dollar a day fine per day.  While Mr. Trump and city argued back and forth, finally when the fine had Reached 120,000 dollars Mr. Trump proposed a solution.  He would donate that amount to Veterans Organizations, would move the flag and pole to a different location in front of the mansion and would only Use a 30 foot flag pole.
The city agreed. So Trump brought in the company who does Golf course construction had them build a 20 foot high grassy hill and put a 30 foot flag pole on top of that.....

Thank you Mr. TRUMP for flying our flag high and donating to our veterans, you are a TRUE AMERICAN!

Now it's "Land of the Freebies and Home of the Enslaved."
How do I qualify ... ?

The Right Does Have Answers on Guns, Mr. President

By Dennis Prager
Published Oct. 7, 2015
On the assumption that there are good and bad people on both the right and the left and that everyone is horrified by mass shootings, how is one to explain the great divide between right and left on the gun issue as it relates to these mass murders?
Why does the left focus on more gun control laws, and why doesn't the right?
One reason is quintessentially American. Most Americans believe that it is their right — and even their duty — to own guns for self-protection. Unique among major democratic and industrialized nations, Americans have traditionally believed in relying on the state as little as possible. The right carries on this tradition, while the left believes in relying on the state as much possible — including, just to name a few areas, education, health care and personal protection.
A second reason for the left-right divide is that the left is uncomfortable with blaming people for bad actions. The right, on the other hand, is far more inclined to blame people for their bad actions.
Thus, liberals generally blame racism and poverty for violent crimes committed by poor blacks and Hispanics, while conservatives blame the criminals. Likewise, during the Cold War the left regarded nuclear weapons as the enemy while conservatives saw Communist regimes that possessed nuclear weapons as the enemy. It was the arms, not the values of those in possession of the arms, that troubled the left.
The third reason for the left-right divide on guns is that the two sides ask different questions when formulating social policies. The right tends to ask, "Does it do good?" The left is more likely to ask, "Does it feel good?"
Attitudes toward the minimum wage provide an excellent example.
As I noted in a recent column, in 1987, The New York Times editorialized against any minimum wage. The title of the editorial said it all: "The Right Minimum Wage: $0.00."
"There's a virtual consensus among economists," wrote the Times editorial, "that the minimum wage is an idea whose time has passed. Raising the minimum wage by a substantial amount would price working poor people out of the job market."
In 1987 the Times editorialized against having any minimum wage because it asked the question: "Does it do good?"
Twenty-seven years later, the same editorial page wrote the opposite of what it had written in 1987, and called for a major increase in the minimum wage.
Why? Did the laws of economics change? Of course not.
What changed was the question the Times asked. Having moved further and further left, the Times editorial page was now preoccupied not with what does good, but with what feels good. And it feels good to raise poor people's minimum wage.

So, too, on gun control. Immediately after the killings in Oregon, President Obama expressed great anger over Congress's unwillingness to pass more gun laws. But neither he nor other left-wing gun control advocates tell us what law or laws — short of universal confiscation of guns (which is as possible as universal deportation of immigrants here illegally) — would have stopped any of the mass shootings that recently occurred.
To liberals it feels good to declare a college a "gun-free zone." Does it do good? Of course not. It does the opposite. It informs would-be murderers that no one will shoot them.
On gun violence, the left doesn't ask, "What does good?" It asks, "What feels good?" It feels good to call for more gun laws. It enables liberals to feel good about themselves; it makes the right look bad; and it increases government control over the citizenry. A liberal trifecta.
Are federal background checks a good idea? The idea sounds perfectly reasonable. But if they wouldn't have prevented any of the recent mass shootings, they would have been no help.
So, then, short of universal confiscation, which is both practically and constitutionally impossible, what will do good? What will reduce gun violence?
One thing that would make incomparably more difference than more gun laws is more fathers, especially in the great majority of shooting murders — those that are not part of a mass shooting.
Why aren't liberals as passionate about policies that ensure that millions more men father their children as they are about gun laws? Because such thinking is anathema to the left. The left works diligently to keep single mothers dependent on the state (and therefore on the Democratic Party). And emphasizing a lack of fathers means human behavior is more to blame than guns.
Another is to cultivate participation in organized religion. Young men who attend church weekly commit far fewer murders than those who do not. But this too is anathema to the left. The secular left never offers religion as a solution to social problems. To do so, like emphasizing fathers, would shift the blame from guns to the criminal users of guns.

I would ask every journalist who cares about truth to ask every politician who argues for more guns laws, and every anti-gun activist, just two questions:
"Which do you believe would do more to decrease gun violence in America — more gun laws or more fathers?" "More gun laws or more church attendance?"
Barack Obama says, "Our gun supply leads to more deaths. The GOP has no plausible alternative theory."
The GOP does. But as usual, few Republicans say what it is. And no liberal wants to hear it.

"As you listen to the news about the student protests over illegal immigration, there are some things that you should be aware of:
I am in charge of the English-as-a-second-language department at a large Southern California high school which is designated a Title 1 school, meaning that its students average lower socioeconomic and income levels.
Most of the schools you are hearing about, South Gate High, Bell Gardens, Huntington Park , etc., where these students are protesting, are also Title 1 schools.
Title 1 schools are on the free breakfast and free lunch program. When I say free breakfast, I'm not talking a glass of milk and a roll - but a full breakfast and cereal bar with fruits and juices that would make the Marriott proud. The waste of this food is monumental, with trays and trays of it being dumped in the trash uneaten (OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK!)
I estimate that well over 50% of these students are obese or at least moderately overweight. About 75% or more DO have cell phones. The school also provides day care centers for the unwed teenage pregnant girls (some as young as13) so they can attend class without the inconvenience of having to arrange for babysitters or having family watch their kids (MORE OF OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK!)
I was ordered to spend $700,000 on my department or risk losing funding for the upcoming year even though there was little need for anything; my budget was already substantial. I ended up buying new computers for the computer learning center, half of which, one month later, have been carved with graffiti by the appreciative students who obviously feel humbled and grateful to have a free education in America.  (MORE AND MORE OF OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK!)
I have had to intervene several times for young substitute teachers whose classes consist of many illegal immigrant students here in the country less than 3 months who raised so much hell with the female teachers, calling them putas (whores ) and throwing things, that the teachers were in tears.
Free medical, free education, free food, day care, etc., etc., etc. Is it any wonder they feel entitled not only to be in this country but to demand rights, privileges and entitlements?
To those who want to point out how much these illegal immigrants contribute to our society because they LIKE their gardener and housekeeper and they like to pay less for tomatoes: spend some time in the real world of illegal immigration and see the TRUE costs.
Higher insurance, medical facilities closing, higher medical costs, more crime, lower standards of education in our schools, overcrowding, new diseases etc., etc., etc.  For me, I'll pay more for tomatoes.
Americans, We need to wake up. The guest worker program will be a disaster because we won't have the guts to enforce it. Does anyone in their right mind really think they will voluntarily leave and return?
It does, however, have everything to do with culture: A third-world culture that does not value education, that accepts children getting pregnant and dropping out of school by 15, and that refuses to assimilate, and an American culture that has become so weak and worried about "political correctness that we don't have the will to do anything about it.

If this makes your blood boil, as it did mine, forward this to everyone you know including your Congressman and Senators.

But the bottom line is cheap labor. The phrase "cheap labor" is a myth, a farce, and a lie. There is no such thing as "cheap labor."
Take, for example, an illegal alien with a wife and five children. He takes a job for $5.00 or $6.00/hour. At that wage, with six dependents, he pays no income tax, yet at the end of the year, if he files an Income Tax Return, he gets an "earned income credit" of up to $3,200 free.

Shotgun Preteen vs. Illegal Alien Home Invaders.

Two illegal aliens, Ralphel Resindez, 23, and Enrico Garza, 26, probably believed they would easily overpower "home-alone" 11-year-old Patricia Harrington after her father had left their two-story home. It seems the two crooks didn't know two things:
(1)  They were in Montana.
(2)  Patricia had been a clay-shooting champion since she was nine.

Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men broke through the front door of the house. She quickly ran to her father's room and grabbed his 12-Gauge Mossberg 500 Shotgun.  Resindez was the first to get up to the second floor only to be the first to catch a near point blank blast of buckshot from the 11-year-old's knee-crouch aim. He suffered fatal wounds to his abdomen and genitals.  Then Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast to the left shoulder and staggered out into the street where he bled to death before medical help could arrive.

It was found out later that Resindez was armed with a stolen 45-caliber handgun he took from another home invasion robbery. The victim there, 50-year-old David 0'Burien, was not so lucky. He died from stab wounds to the chest.  Do you ever wonder why good stuff never makes NBC, CBS, PBS, MSNBC, CNN, or ABC News?

An 11-year-old girl, properly trained, defended her home and herself against two murderous, illegal immigrants and she wins. She is still alive!!!

Now THAT is Gun Control!!!

Thought for the day: Calling an illegal alien an "undocumented immigrant" is like calling a drug dealer an "unlicensed pharmacist".

I like this kind of e-mail!   American citizens defending themselves and their homes.

The Washington Post....

The Arctic Ocean is warming up, icebergs are growing scarcer and in some places the seals are finding the water too hot, according to a report to the Commerce Department yesterday from Consulafft, at Bergen, Norway.

Reports from fishermen, seal hunters and explorers all point to a radical change in climate conditions and hitherto unheard-of temperatures in the Arctic zone. Exploration expeditions report that scarcely any ice has been met as far north as 81 degrees 29 minutes.

Soundings to a depth of 3,100 meters showed the gulf stream still very warm. Great masses of ice have been replaced by moraines of earth and stones, the report continued, while at many points well known glaciers have entirely disappeared. Very few seals and no white fish are found in the eastern Arctic, while vast shoals of herring and smelts which have never before ventured so far north, are being encountered in the old seal fishing grounds.

Within a few years it is predicted that due to the ice melt the sea will rise and make most coastal cities uninhabitable.
* * * * * * * * *

I apologize, I neglected to mention that this report was from November 2, 1922, as reported by the AP and published in The Washington Post - 93 years ago.

We've had climate changes for centuries before now, and will have them in the centuries to come.

There's not a darn thing us mere humans can do about it.

But those who want to control our lives are so arrogant they think they control the world.

The following is from the Bull Elephant--written by Steve Albertson.  You'll see Rob Wittman is mentioned in the rumor-phase regarding a potential run for governor.  It will be interesting to see how the Presidential campaigns shape these state candidates for their respective runs...
                   Trudy, MCRC Vice-Chairman

"Jeff Schapiro at the RTD reports that former U.S. Senate candidate Ed Gillespie is angling for another Senate run. After nearly scoring what would have been an historic upset of Sen. Mark Warner (widely regarded as the state’s most popular politician) in 2014, Gillespie has reportedly told a Richmond business advocacy group that he’s leaning toward another run in 2018, this time against Sen. Tim Kaine.

This revelation dispels speculation that Gillespie would run for Governor in 2017, a rumor that has persisted despite Gillespie’s public denials. As Schapiro says, this clears the way for Gillespie ally and former Attorney General candidate Sen. Mark Obenshain to make the 2017 run.

(BTW, Chris Leavitt may be a busy man over the next few years. After running Obenshain’s 2013 bid, and managing Gillespie’s 2014 campaign, Leavitt is now statewide coordinator for Obenshain’s pick for president, Scott Walker. That race will end in time for Leavitt to turn in earnest to the 2017 race, and then 2018.)

So, the big question is who might stand in the way of Obenshain and Gillespie for their respective nominations?

Schapiro suggests former Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli may run for Governor again next year, though some speculate he’s more closely eying a Senate bid in 2018. The popular Rep. Rob Wittman (VA-1) has also been rumored to be looking at a run for Governor next year. So far as we know, no other potential Republican candidates have emerged for either office, but it is still very early.

On the Democrat side, Kaine will be a formidable incumbent if he runs again, which presumably he will. He is not as well-liked as Warner, which means the Republican nominee would likely have a pretty good shot, especially without a presidential race to boost turnout among Kaine’s base.

The funnest race next year will likely be the battle pitting the Attorney General and the Lieutenant Governor against each other as they both debase themselves in the hopes of getting a promotion to the top job. AG Mark Herring and LG Ralph Northam, who are former Senate colleagues, have both made no secret of their ambitions as they position themselves for the contest. Herring in particular has been a standout among the progressive base with his flamboyant lawlessness on hot button issues. Northam, in contrast, will come across as the much more level-headed and electable liberal alternative. Should be fun to watch that food fight play out."
